Cloud Computing is currently a major IT industry trend. Many companies are communicating about providing applications in the Cloud or Cloud-related services. In this document, we will look at the implications that the buzzword “Cloud Computing” has for Totemo, a company building solutions to secure data in motion. Totemo has always relied on relentless innovation to make applications simpler to use, administrate and maintain. Making it possible to run Totemo applications in the Cloud, especially for managed service providers, is part of Totemo’s long commitment to continuously work on allowing its customers and partners to further lower their capital and operational expenditures. But as we will see in the next sections, Totemo’s Cloud Computing strategy is not about “moving applications to the Cloud for the sake of Cloud” to ride on the hype but about bringing real additional value to Totemo customers and partners.
