Each member of our Totemo community has, in their own personal way, helped us achieve some important milestones last year and even exceed the targets we had set.

Totemo’s foundation, on which the cornerstones of our success stands, is more secure today than it has ever been:

With regards to our direct future, there are a number of different trends and market developments, which, in our opinion, are beneficial for our corporate strategy:

First, Totemos’ security solutions are already being used by many leading application, service and outsourcing providers for the Managed Services business model. We are convinced, especially during such difficult economic times in which an ever-increasing number of companies are trying to reduce their investment costs and technological complexity, that a license model based on a usage-linked service fee will become more popular and, at the same time, will also help reduce administrative overhead.  

Secondly, with our technology platform, the Totemo Security Platform, (TSP), which serves as the basis for all of our security solutions, we have laid the cornerstone for one of the most interesting trends in the information technology sector today: Cloud Computing. The Totemo Security Platform (TSP) is a dynamic, extendable security architecture, which is based completely on interoperable standards and protects all confidential information, regardless of the system, media or protocols in use. Important security-relevant features such as encryption, authentication and authorization, certificate and key management, centralized administration and much more are fully integrated. Linked with our managed services experience, we are already optimally prepared for this challenge.  

Thirdly, in a fast-moving business world, in which critical company data is not only the most valuable asset, but also something that drives complete business processes, business communication has become noticeably fragmented. The easier employees and partners are to contact, the more complex the technical environment, in which communication takes place, becomes. But who guarantees the origin, originality, confidentiality and integrity of the data? The need for controlled data transfers is increasing rapidly, as these are extremely important for many companies and sectors. As an extension to our comprehensive concept for “Securing Data in Motion”, we are now addressing the subject of Managed File Transfers. Totemo TrustDEX, which is part of the Totemo Security Platform, is based on the tried-and-tested Totemo TrustMail technology and provides a controlled environment for secure data transfers, both inside and outside a company. Data movements across the Internet are effectively and transparently controlled, monitored and logged, therefore ensuring compliance requirements.
