Simple Administration through the Integrated Workflow Engine

The core of Totemo TrustDEX is the integrated workflow engine. It is very simple to operate and lets administrators set up complex workflows without programming knowledge. Thanks to the graphic user interface, training is kept to an absolute minimum. IT departments in any company can easily install and start using the software on existing server hardware at once. Alternatively, an appliance is available that is operated like any other network device.

An Overview of Totemo TrustDEX^®

TrustDEX forms a controlled environment for secure data exchange among several people, networks and systems, even among companies. The solution encrypts the transfer protocols and checks data integrity. It supports all manner of authentication mechanisms (e.g. smart cards and hardware tokens) and manages digital certificates and keys. Data movements via the internet are effectively traceable, controlled, monitored and logged to meet compliance rules.

TrustDEX provides secure access to the data with finely definable access rights. Rules automate processes and the architecture is designed openly so that every type of third-party system such as CRM and ERP systems from any provider can be integrated easily.

TrustDEX can be expanded by various modules:

• Attachment Service is responsible for delivering very large email attachments and makes sure that attachments of a predefined size and/or type are extracted and offered to the recipient on an alternative route (e.g., download link).
• File Exchange Proxy operates as a proxy between any internal user and a download page. For this purpose, the page is not mirrored.
• Site-to-site Synchronization makes sure that all information, data and files that need to be exchanged across several locations including subsidiaries in other countries and other time zones can be securely synchronized with other secure managed file transfer gateways.
