TrustMail® Secure Messaging Gateway

Email Communication over the Internet

Sending an email over the Internet is worse than sending an open postcard through first class mail; it can be accessed and modified by anyone in transit, and the Recipient doesn't even have a way to detect it.

Organisations worldwide have reported losses in excess of millions of dollars every year due to email hacking and unwanted access to their communication. Reputational risk, moreover, is even more worrying.

In today’s competitive markets, where business significantly depends on communication and information flow, can you afford to take such risks in your organisation?

If not, TrustMail is what you are looking for.

The TrustMail® Solution

TrustMail is an enterprise secure messaging gateway solution enabling secure communication via the Internet.

The TrustMail architecture

TrustMail seamlessly integrates into your existing mail environment. It typically places itself between your corporate firewall and mail server. It adds attributes like secure transmission, Sender identification, non-repudiation, content security, and delivery confirmation to all the emails. Additionally, its integrated powerful policy management makes it easy to define and execute your corporate security policies.

This in turn allows organisations to resort to emails for the communication of even the most confidential information. TrustMail is hard to circumvent, and it thus significantly mitigates the risk of mishandling sensitive data.

The TrustMail secure messaging gateway is a completely transparent system that does not cause any workflow change from the User point of view, making it easy and cost effective to use. It is able to deliver secure messages to any email address on the internet.

When a User sends a message, TrustMail looks for the Recipient history in its database. The database contains information about the public keys, history and digital certificates for all those Recipients to whom an email has been sent in the past. If the Recipient’s details are already present in the database, TrustMail encrypts the mail using the Recipient’s public key or digital certificate depending upon the technology he is using, or sends him an email notification to collect his message using the WebMail through an SSL connection. If the Recipient is new, a simple enrolment procedure first takes place automatically between TrustMail and the new Recipient.
